Beltway Vehicle Crash

On Monday, January 11 Ambulances 716 and 701, Paramedic Engines 719 and 716 and Rescue Squad 742 operated at this crash on I-495 at Route 29. Two patients were transported to local hospitals - one of those patients was trapped in their vehicle.

This event was challenging because the cars were located on opposite shoulders of the highway. For the safety of the responders, and patients, I-495 was shut down until the patients could be moved to the ambulances and transported.
